DANIEL ST. PETER: "I'm a Cardiovascular Tech and Respiratory Therapist at Mercy Hospital in Portland. Also, the sixth child and youngest male in a family of eight children. We were four boys and four girls. I lived in ours first home for 10 years. It was a four room apartment on French Island, a petite island in the Penobscot River where it passes through Old Town, Maine. The dreams I would have when I was eight would become sort of a bucket list and the catalyst behind many stories, some of which I will share today. My parents remained married until my mother's death in 1990. However, my marital history is more contemporary, as most my life has been. I'm a divorced father of three adult children. First, were two daughters and then, a son. The year of my mother's passing, I pursued one of my childhood dreams: to build my own home. Three years later, my family would move in. In 2002, at the age of 40, I would start and complete another of those childhood dreams when I hiked the Appalachian Trail. This would be the first of many hikes around the world (South Island of New Zealand, The Alps and The Sierra Nevada's are just a few). When asked who Dan St. Peter is, I find it best to answer with the dreams I have for the future rather than simply those dreams fulfilled."
